Vibra Slap
No donkeys, mules, or asses were killed in the production of this instrument! . . .and that's a good thing as this instrument is a high-tech version of the orchestral percussion instrument made from the real jawbone of an ass! Interestingly, the sound the both produce is remarkably similar.
This instrument is played by holding the handle (on the right side of the above picture) and then tapping the ball with the palm of your other hand. While I prefer to play with the ball on the top side, others turn the Vibra Slap with the ball facing down and hitting the instrument against their palm.
